Every year, over 800,000 students sit GCSE Maths exams and more than 40% fail. That is over 320,000 students falling short of the single most important exam they will take - the one that determines their sixth form options, college places, apprenticeships, and career opportunities. Most of these students are not failing because they lack ability. They are failing because they do not have the right support.
I know what that feels like. I attended a school placed into special measures by Ofsted, where the teaching was rated as inadequate and the results were amongst the lowest in the country. I had to teach myself most of my GCSEs and A Levels. Despite that, I achieved 11 A*s at GCSE, 3 A*s at A Level, and a First Class Honours degree from the London School of Economics. Why? Because I found a way to structure my own revision and how to learn effectively from home.
MyGCSEMaths is the platform I wish I had when I was sitting my own exams. Build using everything I learnt from my own experiences and working with thousands of students. A clear system that tells you what to revise, in what order, and tracks your progress so you always know where you stand. Live lessons that are engaging and easy to follow. A community where you are never stuck or revising alone. I built this because it's what 16 year old Matt needed, and it's what hundreds of thousands of every year need.
